Criterion Channel Removes Subscription Fees on Films Highlighting Various Black Experiences

Hey! Check this out, y’all! For those of you who have an interest in some of the less we’ll know history of black culture, Criterion is making a number of movies, by Black directors, available for free on its streaming network.

There are at least five of these movies that I’ve never even heard of! I’ve priced myself on my knowledge of film history, and obscure films in particular, but I don’t know everything, and the existence of at least a couple of these are quite a revelation.

Let me know if y’all want me to review at least a couple of these, but only the movies I’ve never seen, and I’ll put them on my list.
