The idiotic dotard in charge suggests that teachers be armed with firearms, not only is this stupid and dangerous can you imagine a white teacher with a gun and using it on a black student? Can you imagine what the consequences of that action would be? Arming teachers with guns is a very bad idea. I do admire the students standing up and demanding something be done after this horrific tragedy, but black people like BLM have been asking for help in preserving our lives and nothing is done, I see those white kids protesting and they get the attention of the president and the whole country.

    1. They’re only listening to them because they want to curry their favor and to win their votes by pretending to care. They still don’t actually give a damn. Also, I very much suspect that though they pretend to be listening now, those kids are in for the same kind of backlash that’s been used on BLM: demonization. There are people out there already trying to use this tactic now.
I think the difference between BLM and these kids is that the government will put on the facade of giving a damn about their lives, whereas they are pretty blatant about not caring about Black ones.
